After creating 99 Adora Belle doll vignettes since first introduced in 1997, Marie gave the Adora Belle sculpt a "face-lift" when she reached "100", and "Adore My New Adora Belle" marks the first such sculpt as a retail-exclusive. Jingles of Pegasus Therapeutic Riding, Inc.

Like the mythological winged horse for which it was named, Pegasus Therapeutic Riding of Stamford, Connecticut has been lifting “Hearts, Minds and Bodies” since the non-profit organization began in 1975. One horse in particular – a 14.1-hand gelding named Jingles – has become an especially prized member of the Pegasus team. A former show hunter donated by a local family, Jingles is the ideal therapy mount due to his gentle temperament, excellent training and quality of movement. Fetish Pony Figurine

To Native Americans, a fetish is any object that possesses "spirit power." They believe that when the object is treated with respect, the spirit that resides within can bring its owner good luck, good health and a harmonious life. With this in mind, Oregon painter Lynn Bean created an extraordinary "fetish pony" on which the spirit images of different horses seem to emerge from inside a sandstone carving of a host horse, who wears a "power pack" of feathers, beads and shells on its back.

Painted in conjunction with the Chinese "Year of the Horse", this western and wildlife artist from Cerrillos, NM created a classic celebration of the different horse breeds of America. Lee Middleton Moments

With great enthusiasm, Linda Rick created a new company called Lee Middleton Moments. At IDEX 2006, she will unveil a line of 28 newly designed dolls using Lee's original molds, as well as four of Brynn's dolls that will debut alongside her mother's. Brynn, an exceptionally talented doll maker in her own right, will be the company spokesperson. She plans to attend shows, signing events, and looks forward to meeting a new generation of collectors.

During her career, Lee Middleton was a visionary who developed artist-sculpted vinyl dolls, lifelike vinyl colors, weighted baby doll bodies with heads that wobble, and the concept of nursery adoption centers. "These are phenomenal achievements for anyone, let alone a simply country girl from rural Ohio," Brynn says. For her part, Linda brings a heavy measure of ability and experience to the new project, along with a genuine respect and enthusiasm for two generations of Middleton talent.

Adora Dolls for 2006

This new collection of Adora limited and open editions is sure to please doll collectors worldwide. There are 9 new sculpts, 8 on the 20” dolls and 1 on the 22”. Starting this year, ALL of the 22” dolls will be limited editions. Some of these editions will contain counts as low as 200 pieces; NO edition will exceed 700 pieces.
